instructions will teach you to create a variety of

Please refer to the instructional DVD -Versatile
Styles: Step by Step - to watch actual
demonstrations of these and many other
professional hairstyling techniques.
First...the
basics!
1. Turn the power
switch to the on
position. NOTE: For your protection,
this styling tool is equipped with a safety plug.
Press the reset button if the iron has no power
when turned on.
2. Always start your
TrueCeramicPro at the
lowest temperature setting (140 °
F) and gradually increase heat only as
necessary for your personal hair type and
texture. Lower heat settings are recommended
for fine, chemically treated or damaged
hair while higher heat settings may work best for
coarse, healthy hair types or for ethnic
hair.
3. When the red
indicator light begins to flash, the iron has
reached the selected temperature - do not
use the iron until the red light starts blinking
in order to ensure consistent heat. NOTE
: When the light is a solid red, the iron is
heating up; when the light goes dark, the iron is
cooling down.
4. Comb out a
small section of dry hair
from the root.
5. Apply the iron to
one section at a time. (When
straightening, slowly glide the iron down each
section of hair - you should only need to make
one pass.)
6. Always remember
to turn the power switch to the off
position and unplug it
when finished using the
TrueCeramicPro.
Say goodbye to bad
hair days forever!
TrueCeramicPro Styling Tips
HOW TO STRAIGHTEN:
STEP 1 Clip up
excess hair from top of head so you can start
styling the underneath layers first and then move
to the upper layers.
STEP 2 Comb out one section of
dry hair (approximately 2' wide).
STEP 3 Slowly glide the
TrueCeramicPro over each section from hair root to
the ends without stopping.
BONUS STYLING TIP! •
You can easily add a flip with a twist of your
wrist! For an inward flip, start turning your
wrist downward as you near the hair ends; for an
outward flip, turn your wrist upward. A fast turn
of the wrist will create a tighter flip while
turning your wrist more slowly will create a
softer flip.
HOW TO ADD
VOLUME: STEP 1
Take diagonal sections of dry hair
(approximately 2' wide) from the root and slowly
glide the TrueCeramicPro from the
root in an upward direction.
STEP 2 As you reach the end of
each section, slowly twist your wrist inward to
help create a rounded, fuller shape.
HOW TO ADD FLIPS:
STEP 1 Create
small section of dry hair (approximately 2'
wide)
STEP 2 Slowly slide iron down
the section from hair root to ends.
STEP 3 For an outward flip,
twist wrist upward as you near the ends.
STEP 4 For an inward flip,
twist wrist downward as you near the ends.
BONUS STYLING
TIP! • A fast turn
of the wrist will create a tight flip while
turning your wrist slowly will create just a
slight flip. |
